SRX8

I have come to Chikushino buggy holic truck. Another five mates been there. First I have to change front hub to +1mm. For front tire attach spindle. Then rear tire lose traction on power on the corner. I change rear hub to +2mm. Feeling goes good. Shock end drop out. I use kit original shock end. I change mp9 shock end. Spring dish use original yet. I get rear traction . I want to get more head down on braking before the corner. Then change spring more weak. It is xray 3 stripe. And change skid up. And I want to get more quick steering. Wheel base is changed -1mm. Rear Roll center is down. Other center drive shaft drop out. Another parts never broken. DNX8 has durability. DNX8 is so stable that I want to modify several points. I will write these next.

It is cloudy Sunday today! I will go our truck to shake down my DNX8. My baby's weight is 3409g. Weight control is perfect. These are carried on my car. I will go to our truck listening on Tyror Swift.

This is figure of kingpin angle. It is ball link suspension model. It is side view. It has caster angle. On full right steering inside tire set rapid positive camber. And have more caster angle than neutral steering. On full left steering out side tire set vertical. And have little caster angle than neutral steering. More caster angle make more lodge to ground on cornering. Then I feel kingpin angle car can't round like round. It likes drift. Ball link suspension car caster variable link camber variable. But C-HUB suspension car has two point movable points. Then caster variable separate from camber variable. Ball link car can turn breaking rear traction. Then ball link car design long wheelbase or to get more chassis flex.  C-HUB car can turn continue to get rear traction. Then C-HUB car design short wheel base or like hard inner.    It is difference of suspension type between C-HUB and ball link.

I have returned to home. I prepare my DNX8 for next weekend. I want to mount MP9 body. If I could mount MP9 body,I can mount many types of body shell. Jconcept,ProLine,Bitty design etc. Is there any other body for DNX8 original? I can't find it. For mounting MP9 I have to adjust post height. I select long screw. I put the screw lock nut. And put on spacer. Then mount body stay. Therefore I can adjust body stay height without steering plate off. But rear body stay height can't adjust. I am thinking about issue.

Why do we use nitro fuel for 1/8 RC? Why not gasoline ? It is from gasoline is difficult to make air-fuel mixture. It has narrow inflammable range. Then carburetor structure becomes complex. Inflammable range are  Gasoline          1.4-7.6 Methanol         6.4-36.5 Nitromethane   7.5-100 Nitro fuel made by Methanol and Nitromethane. These have wide inflammable range. Then nitro fuel is easy to make mixture. Then carburetor structure is so simple. And Methanol make fuel safety. Then RC nitro engine can not control combustion timing It is spontaneous combustion for plug. . There is nothing to improve combustion efficiency on RC nitro engines these 20 years. Only improvement is turbo plug by Rody Rome 20 about years ago. Then nowadays improvement of engine focus on conrod strength and crankshaft valance and PC thermal expansion. From neobuggy they introduce front wing system. It likes EP buggy. In the EP buggy world in this year many pro drivers put front wing. Front wing is developed by Azarashi first. It become major on Yatabe arena changing ground artificial turf. Mainly it comes from for high block tire. On the other hand does GP buggy can get any effect? Almost GP buggy no use high block tire. Probably it too small to get Aerodynamics effect. But it protect dust into inside body. And break it soon except pro driver. Side frip might be effective for rear traction control. Almost setting points must be adjust around rear traction control.

I set rear body stay same method of front. But MP9 body has carb toward front. I have to cut front end of saucer. I always put string to rear shock tower. I make oil hole as small as possible. I complete mounting body. But I failed to cut front suspension area and side dum hight. I want to get assassin body next time. I like narrow cabin body like a jconcept silencer. It make easy to go straight after small jump. It is jconcept new body for RC8B3 Striker. Is has same character narrow cabin and long cabin. It might be trend currently American car has zero kingpin angle then it helps straight going. Aerodynamics ease bad point of car character.
