PICCO V1 TEAM DLC CER

Picco unveil new off road engine.
I've got Picco last year model.
One of difference point is engine block.

Old cooling fin is block type.
Like a REDS.

New one is round type.
Like a TRITON.
Like a OS.
It has three needles.
New carburetor has idling needle.


Old crank shaft is not coated.
New one is coated with DLC.
It needs high quality.

OS often missed coating on crank pin.
Can Picco keep that quality?
Left is a old Picco.
Right is Triton. 
New Picco cooling head as same as Triton.
It has nine fins.
RC car engine is the most simple engine.
But there is place for improvement.

OS engine suggest four break through.
First is square bore.
Second is three needle carburetor.
Third is DLC crank shaft.
Fourth is Low cooling head.

Picco follow second and third. 
I want to try one.

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
