Prep 3

Once I completed prep. But I remember about rear stiffener  mount. I forgot under lock nut putting. I shaved little on bulkhead at under the mount for making space. I put another side too. I have perfect durability for rear stuffer. I bought Kyosho white exhaust pipe. I put on thermal compression tube on the mouth. White tube is large diameter. Then warry about pop out. And I am painting new body shell. It's JConcept silencer for MP9.

Prep 2

I replaced rear diff drive cup. First I used Xray drive shaft. Xray spring steal is harder than cup. Front cup is not so. Mugen shaft pin and cup are same hardness. Trifecta wing are mounted. I tried some types wing. Long rear arm car likes low mounted wing. Especially trifecta make easy breaking rear on the out of corner. I like policabonade wing but it has no durability.

Prep endurance

It's  Xray front suspension arm. It is bended little. I try to change Mugen. Mugen arm Size and shape is complete same as Durango. But on full bottom,down stop screw mount hits to drive cup. Then I shaved it by dremel. M2C chassis has two screw holes under the drive universal. Original chassis has no holes at the area. Why is there holes? Probably these are for mounting weights. Where is weight? I replaced fuel tube. For endurance race I want to avoid fuel tube from thermal of exhaust pipe. Shock o rings are replaced new one. O ring should be replaced every two times running day long. And should rub oring grease on the mouth of shaft before insert oring. It's for don't leaking oil. I changed piston from 1.5x5 to 1.3x8 for low grip surface. I use same oil 42.5 wt before but it effects softer. It's new Kyosho boots. It becomes straight type. Front arms

I maintained frontend. FF suspension holder was bended by crash. But front suspension arm didn't receive damage. I repaired it with hammer. But it is little bended yet.  I order new one to AMain. It'll be derived the day before race. These are front arms. Xray,Durango,Mugen. Xray is made by soft material. Then arm didn't get damages. Mugen arm hinge pin holes are separated. Then hinge pin couldn't move smoothly. I through 4.1mm drill teeth. 

XB8 detail

Xray open XB8 promotion web page. I'm surprised at weight 3205g. My DNX8 has 3400g over. XB8 can set weight on hub carrier or chassis more band. Xray can make lighten parts that have plenty durability. They have metal processing ability as Kyosho automodel. It's 2015 spec. They shave weight about 200g. One point I can't understand. Chassis length is shorter but wheelbase is same. Front upper suspension arm lost length adjustment. It's for durability. Almost no need changing camber on front. Kingpin ball are made by another material  each upper and lower. It's same as me. Lower is made by heavyweight material. It's for increasing under spring weight. Rear hub carrier becomes normal design. Old one ball connection has no durability and no maintainable with screw lock. Electric XB4 has easy maintainable bulkhead as DNX8. I appoint to became so. Champ

I've been in Tokyo today. I went to RC shop champ at akihabara. I bought some parts. It's a trifecta wing.   It has two types flip. I want to know what difference these flip effect. And I bought shock Pistons. I bought two types. Both are 1.3 x 8 holes. One is tapered piston hole. Tapered piston is used for front. I used Xray progressive spring for front shock. Then I select tapered hole piston too. It has progressively effect. It's Mugen mbx7r front suspension arm. Maybe it can be fit for DNX8. I will try to use that. Now I use Xray. It's so expensive. Mugen is 5$ in Japan. I want to buy MP9 TKI4 body shell. But it's out of stock now. My development DNX8 is in the second stage. There is no issue about durability in last run. And I understood basically setup methods. My DNX8 is almost another car. But I think original design ideas are very good. I keep to develop DNX8 for competition.

Milling operation

I bolt on new chassis immediately. I found different points among two chassis. M2C milling more deeply on lightening. And there is not lightening on engine mount and engine side. I think it's good for getting more strength chassis center. Important things are chassis has two flexible points each front and rear. Not center of chassis. The chassis improve that. I worry about engin bottom touching chassis. It's OK. Another difference is under bell. Original chassis has clearance hole. M2C milling more and more deeply to front end. I built on rear bulkhead only tonight. I changed shock mount screw on second hole from outside. My shock tower doesn't have one outside hole only fourth. It's for getting more reactively. Probably the chassis make more traction on rearend.

M2C chassis

AMain bag arrive at home today. First M2C chassis! It had two skid guards made by iron. It's rear end. It is shaved for skid guard. It makes flat on wearing the guards. Front end too. MBX users add weight on chassis each frontend and rearend. Probably M2C chassis effect same as this. It makes traction increase. Dirango? Maybe I missed order! It's rear sway bar. It is 2.6mm.

Bumpy track

I went to track yeaterday. There ware many bump after hard rain. And surface was dry and dusty. Nowadays bump issues is only GP buggy category. EP experts hasn't bumpy track experience. First my car fall down at the big bump.  Another expert's car didn't fall down. I changed setup. I will introduce my setup method. 1 diff setup Every buggies has each character for diff setup. I tried several diff setups. DNX8 needs rear diff softer oil. DNX8 has long rear lower suspension arm then rear tire move slowly. It makes traction long time at out corner. Softer rear diff oil lose rear traction. On power at out of corner these are balanced. If your car rear push out on the out of corner,it caused rear tire touch the ground long time. And slippy surface need more soft oil. High grip surface need hard oil. I find best feel F7k,C5k,R3k. Air temperature is at 28°C. If There are big bump center need soft oil. 2 rear geometrie...

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

XB8 2016

Martin Bayer report xb8 development. Xray develop too many cars on short term by few members. I feel they can't get plenty resources to xb8. Xb8 become expensive mbx7 not 7r. But it's maximum improve for these years. Expensive mean Xray parts is precious and high price compared Mugen. AE takes two years for developing RC8B3. It's for beating Japanese car. Buggy mechanism is so complex and track condition are so many. Truly improve need to take long time and a lot resources. Martin develop this version mainly. Almost changing point are chassis brace and short wheelbase. They can't get trend nowadays. Metal bearing guid bulkhead. Easy maintenanced bulk. Unicast wing mount. Short shock and flexible suspension arm. Xb8 2015 chassis brace is so bad shape. It's so weak. I don't understand why brace shape curved. Then rear suspension can't work well. It becomes straight bar type then 2016 can work well. ...

Sunset

I was going back home after work. Sunset was so beautiful. I took the picture with iPhone. A French rich couple have traveled all over the world with yacht. They loved the sunset. Then they stop travel and stay the yacht at near harbor over 10 years.

OS unveil

OS engine unveil new 21 XZ-B spec 3. It's different from B2101 at bore stroke. Bore is 16.27mm. Stroke is 16.8mm. OS and Nova piston rub sleeve at piston top. Then big bore piston is more expanded by thermal. It make difficult for break in. And a lot stress damage to connection rod more than small piston. I saw several times OS connection rod breaking on B2101. The spec 3 is long stroke. It's easy for break in and easy drive for middle class driver.

Determine oil

I changed front xb8 shock spring saucer. Xray progressive spring diameter is little larger than Kyosho. Right side is Xray. In summer season traction become weaker and weaker for drying weather. I change soft spring for summer season. I check oil thickness. I fall down from 20 cm above the ground. If chassis hit the ground,I change harder oil. Now spring is Kyosho orange. Shave

It's Ty Tesmann d815 front end. Why did he shave front lower arm around droop plate?  It's Ronnefolk. He didn't shave. Probably Ty avoided to intervene mud between susarm and chassis.
