When do we complete break in?
Until it's 100℃ on head with racing status main needle.

On visual decided method.
OS engine attach at head of  piston.
2/3 width top to groove is shaved.
It's complete.

My OS piston is not same width yet.
More 5 tanks will be needed to run. 

This is a PICCO piston.
The piston attach upper of piston pin hole.
It's avoid thermal expansion for combustion. 

But if you saw piston pin area,you find thickness of holding block.
The the area is more expanded than other area.
We have to care heat cycle operation.
I have never use Nova.
I'll try next.

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
