Setting tips 2

I set up my DNX8 from Durango tech tip card and pro driver setup sheets.
I recommend you to read previous article.

5 Active caster
It's active caster setup method.
Travis sometimes change active caster.
Others select up or down case by case.
Probably this is effective setup point.
I want sharpens steering.
Then I'll try set from down 3.

6 Rear camber link
Any driver select high hole.
Almost short selected.
Short camber is good for tight truck.
My DNX8 has XB9's hub carrier.
I'll try mid high mount.

7 Ride height
This is ride height setting method.
27mm height is basic.
On flat surface truck 26mm.
Carlos sometimes sets front -2mm lower than rear.
I'll try same.

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
