XB8 detail

Xray open XB8 promotion web page.

I'm surprised at weight 3205g.
My DNX8 has 3400g over.
XB8 can set weight on hub carrier or chassis more band.
Xray can make lighten parts that have plenty durability.
They have metal processing ability as Kyosho automodel.
It's 2015 spec.
They shave weight about 200g.
One point I can't understand.
Chassis length is shorter but wheelbase is same.


Front upper suspension arm lost length adjustment.
It's for durability.
Almost no need changing camber on front.
Kingpin ball are made by another material  each upper and lower.
It's same as me.
Lower is made by heavyweight material.
It's for increasing under spring weight.

Rear hub carrier becomes normal design.
Old one ball connection has no durability and no maintainable with screw lock.
Electric XB4 has easy maintainable bulkhead as DNX8.
I appoint to became so.
But not so.
Marti Bayer work is good.
It's truly improvement as actually racing.

But Xray should do that work in 2015.

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
