On 04/30 truck condition is bad.
Surface is dusty.Grip is bad.And last heavy rain make big gap.
In that case I changed spring to softer and longer.
Front spring is Xray 3 stripes rear.Rear spring Kyosho Orange M size.
If I had 1.3 mm x 8 holes piston,I change the piston.
I like thick oil.
I adjust piston side.
Thick oil is difficult to leak.
And never change character on long distance drive.

Ride height +1 mm for big gap.
And carburetor reducer change 6mm diameter from 7mm.

I try diff oil ticker 7K,7K,3K.
It feels good.
I will try 10K,10K,5K on next run.

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
