Engine spec

I measure some engines catalog spec.

Engine BrandStrokeBoreBore RateClank weightTotal weightMax RPM

Currently almost engines are near square bore rate.
Only Nova is long stroke.
Generally Long stroke engine is high torque.

Only Spanish Brand Ultimate has release square bore rate engines manufactured by Nova.
I'm interested in.
But I can't get  in Amain.
Probably Nova have already tried square.
Then is Nova old fashioned?
No!
Why only Nova remain long stroke?
In my opinion Nova has most long life PC.
Long stroke means narrow piston top.
Thermal expansion effect most small.

And Nova clank shaft weight is most heavy.

But Nova made original bearing.
Nova bearing balls are most small.
Bearing world is so deep!
Small ball make small friction.
But small ball is so weak.

Probably Nova set heavy counter weight on crank, then crank weight is so heavy.
But bearing friction is so small, heavy counter weight protect the bearing with smooth rotation.

What I said is catalog spec is meaningless for Engine.
Especially Nova.

Weight is meaningless.
Important things are where is there weight,is there friction.

For example Nova piston pin is more lighten. That mounted high position.
Nova has long experience for balancing hardening and strength.

HUDY is good at metal hardening treatment.
FX is excellent too.
But the difference came from experience.
Roma was not built one day.
