ENGINE MOUNT

DNX8 engine mount need attention for putting direction.

I use REDS engine.
Then engine mount must be set same direction.
I put engine mount direction to near exhaust pipe side.
Because center drive shaft does't tough engine mount.
I varnish engine mount thread middle powered thread lock.
I varnish thread lock with taper head zone too.
Pinion gear mesh is very important.
Pro driver's buggy is so quiet.
It sounds engine exhaust only.
Noise is nothing.
First I adjust gear mesh by center diff mount.
Loosen Orion threads.
I put driver into Super gear hole and push super to engine side.
Then tighten Orion threads.
Second I adjust mesh subtle by engine mount thread.
I move subtle engine self.
I adjust many times for no clearance and no friction.

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
