thermal damage

Today Neo buggy writes about TLR new buggy.
This is new agama buggy.
The buggies become wide chassis.

On the other hand Kyosho buggy series never become narrow chassis.

In my opinion Kanai knows about thermal damage well.

Thermal damage break radio system and engine performance.

Chassis is serve engine for heat sink.
Thin chassis can conduction a lot of thermal from engine to back side of chassis.

Wide chassis can though a
 lot of air flow to inside body.

Metal plate radio tray is serve servo for heat sink.

DNX8 has wide 3mm chassis.
Servo places out of plastic box.
And put on metal plate.
It is destiny for engine car designer to avoid thermal damage like McLaren Honda.
Even though RC car is a car.
DNX8 is a nice car for me when I was interested in after survey my point of view.
I like open space of engine side for avoiding thermal damage.
I want to buy one acre on the plain.

Arrma

I warry about Durango parts providing. AMain can provide parts after soon I put parts on cart or wish list. Probably they don't want to make dead stock. Then they watch customers need. I want bulk head. But it will stock on end of June. But I found another brand Arrma. Is the bulkhead same spec as DNX8? Is Arrma one of Hobbico brand? The picture is Durango. It is 2 dollars expensive.

Break In Part3

This picture is same type OS engine piston. But each engines take different way of break in. Already you can understand. Left side is running in,right side is stand in.  Each engine left side is exhaust side. Thermal expansion lean left side continued long time. Then piston top scrape right side only.  And piston side doesn't scrape uniformity. Stand in disuse piston. Not break in,only do break. It takes a balance by chance for short term. So I said heat cycle is very important. Heat cycling protect piston to lean thermal. Perfect break in is like this. Piston top scraping belt width is uniformity on zoom up shot! AND piston side luster is uniformity.
